PrestaShop experts
PrestaShop powers thousands of stores in Spain. We implement it with years of hands-on experience: we know which modules are worth it, which configurations cause problems and how to get the most out of it from day one.
Request a quoteWe do not just install and leave. We configure the theme, modules, payment gateways, carriers, SEO and the complete catalogue before handing over your store.
Whether you come from WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify or a legacy store, we migrate your catalogue, customers and order history without losing data or SEO rankings.
We develop bespoke PrestaShop modules when the marketplace does not offer what you need, and provide maintenance plans to keep your store updated and secure.
What our implementation includes
Theme adapted to your brand with your colours, typography, header and homepage designed for you. We never use the default theme.
We integrate the modules needed for payments, shipping, SEO, marketing and performance. We only select those that bring real value to your business.
We connect the store with Gestinity or other management systems to automatically sync stock, orders and invoicing.
We configure caching, CDN, image compression and performance best practices. A fast store sells more and ranks better.
Clean URLs, optimised meta tags, structured data, hreflang for multi-language and automatic sitemap. Rank from launch day.
We train your team to manage the catalogue, orders and campaigns independently. And we remain available for support whenever you need us.

Complete guide
PrestaShop is one of the most widely used e-commerce platforms in Spain and across Europe. It is open source, runs on your own server and adapts to almost any sales model, from a fashion store to a B2B portal with customer-specific price lists. But the difference between a PrestaShop online store that sells and one that causes trouble is not the platform: it is how it is implemented. This guide explains what PrestaShop is, when it makes sense, how it integrates with the rest of the business and what to ask of whoever builds it.
PrestaShop is open-source e-commerce software created in France in 2007. Because it is open source, there is no licence fee and the code is yours: you can host the store wherever you like, change it without asking anyone for permission and switch technical provider without losing the business. Its ecosystem of modules and themes is one of the largest in the European market, and it natively supports multiple languages, currencies, taxes and carriers, which is key if you sell in Spain and elsewhere in the European Union.
That flexibility comes at a price: a PrestaShop online store needs technical judgement. You have to choose the right hosting, keep versions up to date, select few and good modules, and look after performance. That is why many companies prefer an expert PrestaShop team to handle implementation and maintenance, so they can spend their time selling.
The usual choice is between PrestaShop and a monthly-subscription SaaS platform. Neither is better in the abstract; it depends on what your business needs. This table summarises the criteria we use with our clients:
| Criterion | PrestaShop online store | SaaS subscription platform |
|---|---|---|
| Ownership | The code, the data and the hosting belong to the company. | The store lives on the provider's platform and depends on its terms. |
| Customisation | No limits: custom modules, your own pricing logic, B2B workflows. | Limited to what the platform and its apps allow. |
| ERP integration | Direct, with access to the database and the webservice API. | Through third-party connectors, often with a recurring cost. |
| Recurring costs | Hosting and maintenance; no platform fees on sales. | Monthly fee and, depending on the plan, transaction fees or paid apps. |
| Getting started | Needs a technical team to configure and optimise the store. | Quick start for simple catalogues. |
| Scalability | Grows with the server and architecture you choose. | Grows within the provider's plans and limits. |
As a rule of thumb, PrestaShop fits when the store has to work alongside an ERP, when prices or terms differ by customer, when the catalogue is large or technical, or when the company wants to own its sales channel. If you only need to sell a few products with no integration at all, a subscription platform may be enough to start with.
Most of our PrestaShop projects are not generic stores: they are sales channels connected to the company's operations. These are the most common scenarios by industry:
An isolated PrestaShop online store means orders keyed in by hand, stock-outs and invoicing errors. Integration with the rest of the systems is what turns the store into a business tool. The most common ones are:
A large part of our PrestaShop work is migrating existing stores: from WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify or an old PrestaShop version that no longer receives security updates. A well-executed migration moves the catalogue, customers, orders and URLs, and keeps Google rankings thanks to 301 redirects. When no module on the market does what you need, we build custom PrestaShop modules following the platform's standards, so future updates do not break the store.
Performance is the other big front. A slow store loses sales and rankings. We work on caching, image optimisation, deferred loading, the database and the choice of server, and we measure Core Web Vitals before and after. We also look after security: updates, backups and compliance with GDPR and e-commerce regulations.
If you recognise two or more of these situations, the problem is not PrestaShop: it is the implementation. It can almost always be fixed without rebuilding the store from scratch.
We work with companies all over Spain from our offices in Murcia and Madrid.
We are a software development consultancy with over 20 years of experience, not an agency that only installs templates. That lets us treat the PrestaShop online store as part of the company's system: we integrate it with the ERP, build any missing modules and take care of maintenance so the store stays fast and secure over time.
Every project starts with an analysis of your catalogue, your processes and your current systems. From there we propose the scope, the timeline and the maintenance model, with no commitment and a stable technical point of contact throughout the project.
